Assembly of the basic unit:
The basic unit is assembled in the reverse order, taking care that all PCBs are correctly seated and
that the insulating foils and cables are correctly positioned. When the main PCB is installed, the
main transformer must make contact with the connection pin on the HS printed circuit board (take
care not to damage this pin!).
Disassembly of the reflector:
•
Swivel the reflector (29) 90° upwards and remove both light reducing filters.
•
Then disengage the reflector from the guides in the flashgun by pushing the case outwards.
Take care not to lose the balls and springs, which may pop out when the reflector is
disengaged!
•
Remove the balls and springs on both sides. Then pull out the complete reflector until the right-
hand (grey) and left-hand (black) retainers can be pulled off.
•
Take off the upper part of the reflector case (35) by unlocking it from the lower part of the case
(39) on both sides. At this stage, note the positions of the cables so that these can be
repositioned correctly during assembly.
•
The components of the motor-zoom reflector and the flash tube can now be replaced. and the
positions of the cables can be checked. For complete disassembly of the reflector, the basic
unit must first be completely disassembled.
Assembly of the reflector:
•
Position the cables and wires such that the reflector slide and the reflector head can move
freely.
•
Then place the upper part of the reflector case (35) on the lower part (39) and snap it into
position. This must be possible with little effort; if this is not the case, correct the positions of the
cables within the reflector.
•
Mount the right-hand (grey) and left-hand (black) retainers and insert the reflector into the case
of the flashgun.
•
Then place the balls in the appropriate slots in the retainers and push them outwards. Then insert
the springs in the slots such that the balls are pressed outwards.
•
Lock the reflector in its normal position and carry out a functional test.
