3.2 Deactivating the buttons
Deactivating the
button:
• Press the

buttons at the same time and hold for
three
seconds.
The , , and buttons
flash
quickly three times.
Controls:
When you press the
button, it does not illuminate and there-
fore no longer functions.
The same procedure also applies to the

buttons.
3.3 Programming the remote control with the device code for
AV devices
• Switch on your external AV device.
• Select a code from the device code list for your AV device.
• Press the
or
or
button to be programmed
(about five seconds), until the upper button row briefly flashes
twice.
• Enter the four-digit device code for your AV device within ten
seconds.
• The button to be programmed acknowledges the code entry of an
existing code by flashing twice.
If
all
the
buttons , , , are
illuminated
for about two seconds, this indicates an error, or that the
entry was incomplete. Repeat the entry.
• To test the programming, switch off the external AV device with the
button of this remote control.
If the external AV device switches off, a matching code has been
programmed. If the external AV device does not switch off,

If several buttons for basic operation do not work, enter the next
code from the device code list.
3.4 Conduct manufacturer search
• Switch on your external AV device.
• Select a code for your AV device from the manufacturer code list.
• Press the

or
button to be programmed
(about five seconds), until the upper button row briefly flashes
twice.
• Within ten seconds enter the four-digit code "0003" to activate the
search.
To confirm that the search has been activated, the upper button
row briefly flashes twice.
• Enter the four-digit manufacturer code within ten seconds accor-
ding to the manufacturer code list at the end of the operating
instructions.
• The button to be programmed acknowledges the code entry by
flashing twice.
• Press and hold the
button of this remote control until the
external AV device switches off. If the external AV device switches
off during the search, immediately release the
button and
press the XXX button. The setting thus found is saved.
The button flashes twice.
If the external AV device switches off, the matching code has been
programmed.
