Second-curtain synchronisation (REAR) cannot be
set when the EOS 500N is in E-TTL mode. Second-
curtain synchronisation (REAR) can only be
activated if the mecablitz is changed over from E-
TTL to normal TTL mode.
If E-TTL is selected while REAR synchronisation is
activated, the second curtain synchronisation will
automatically be cancelled.
EOS 5
In the “Av” aperture priority mode, the “CF-9”
individual function permits the flash synch speed
to be locked at 1/200th sec.
The following flash modes are possible:
TTL flash mode, auto flash mode and manual flash
mode.
Second-curtain synchronisation is possible in all
three flash modes.
The TTL and automatic flash mode permit manual
flash exposure correction.
EOS 5000
Only TTL flash mode is possible! The auto, manual
and stroboscope flash modes cannot be used.
Changeover to one of these flash modes causes
the largest f-number to flash on the camera's
