INPUT CONNECTORS (FROM CONSOLE)
Analog Inputs
Analog sources, including those from analog mixing consoles, are connected to the XLR-3F
input connectors labeled A through D on the Galileo 408 rear panel. The four analog inputs are
electronically balanced and feed state-of-the-art A/D converters operating at 24-bit resolution
at a 96 kHz sample rate. In the Compass control software on the Settings > Input and Output
page, the Input Voltage Range can be set to 26 dBu (the default) or +20 dBu. In addi-
tion, inputs A and C can be configured as Analog or AES. The Galileo 408’s input meters on
the front panel indicate levels for both analog and digital signals.
