PRESSURE BRAKE
Function as operating brakes
Press both brake levers (fig. 5/

) only
slightly forward.
– This way the wheelchair brakes
down slowly.
Locking the pressure brakes
To secure the wheelchair against any
unintentional rolling, press both bra-
ke levers forward all the way (fig. 5).

Note:
It should not be possible to push
the wheelchair forward when both
brakes are locked.
Releasing the pressure brakes
Pull both brake levers to the rear up
to the end stops (fig. 6).
Adjusting the pressure brake
The pressure brakes must be tested for
correct functioning after each reas-
sembly, and readjusted if necessary.
