Swivelling away the side
The legrests can be swivelled outwards
after the calf strap has been detached
at one side, for an easier transfer to/
from the wheelchair or a closer driv-
ing up to a cupboard, bed or bath (fig.
47).
First lift the locking device (fig. 48/
➀
)
and then swivel the legrest outward
(fig. 47).

Attention:
Swivelled-away leg stump supports
are automatically unlocked and can
easily fall off. Note this when han-
dling (e.g. transport).
Do not forget to check the correct
functioning of the respective lock-
ing device (fig. 49/
➀
) after having
swivelled in the legrests again.

LEGRESTS
Various legrest models for the wheel-
chair are available. The foot plates can
be folded up.

Attention:
Do not use the legrests to lift or
carry the wheelchair.
•
Lift the feet, respectively place
them on the foot plates before each
movement of the wheelchair.
•
The operating module is to be
switched off:
– Before placing the feet on the
floor.
– To remove the calf belt and the
legrest.
– Before folding up the footplates.
Calf strap
The calf strap is wrapped around the
left and right legrest and secured with
Velcro fasteners (fig. 45/
➀
). Removal
of the calf belt is achieved by open-
ing the velcro straps.

Folding up the foot plates
Take the feet off of the footplates, fold
the footplates up (fig. 46).
