Strapping on the lap belt with

Pull both belt halves to the front
and slide the catch halves together
so that they latch together (fig. 52).
Then carry out a pull test.
You open the lap seatbelt by pressing
in the red unlocking button (fig. 60/

Adjustment of belt length

The lap seatbelt should not be too
tight.
By shifting the catch (fig. 60/

or pulling on the end of the belt (fig.

) the length of the lap belt can
be changed.

Lay the two ends of the belt on top
of each other at the desired length
and press them together. Then car-
ry out a pull test.

Attention:
Make sure that no objects are
trapped between belt and the
body! – Thus you avoid painful
pressure points.

LAP BELT
The lap belt is used for securing a per-
son sitting in the wheelchair.
– Additional stabilization of the sit-
ting position.
– Prevents the user from falling for-
wards out of the wheelchair.
– Continuous adjustment to suit the
user’s needs.
The lap belt is screwed on, from the
outer side, at the respective backrest
holder (fig. 59).

The lap belt is not a part of the se-
curing system for the wheelchair,
or the person sitting in the wheel-
chair, during the transport in a dis-
abled person transport vehicle.
