Viewing Logs
The DIRECTOR EC maintains a comprehensive database of all jobs
completed by the unit. The collected information is useful for a variety of
reasons such as, tracking disc usage, helping to diagnose problems, or even
for billing clients. The
Log
tab provides an easy way to review the history
of all jobs completed by the DIRECTOR EC.
To display the DIRECTOR EC’s history log:

Click the
System Log
tab. The screen will now display:
The
System Log
tab consists of one central JOBLOG windowpane,
containing all job related information.
Updating Job Records
To update job records in the history log:
•
Click the
Refresh
button at the bottom of the JOBLOG window.
Navigating Job Records
To navigate among job records in the history log.
•
Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the JOBLOG window to move left or
right.
•
Use the
Database Navigator
buttons to advance from record to record
or to move to the top or bottom of the database.
