5.4.
Preparations for initial commissioning
NOTE
The power generator is delivered without engine oil. Never start the engine without engine oil.
Damage caused by operating the engine without oil cannot be repaired and is not covered by the
manufacturer’s warranty.
We recommend that the oil level is checked at least twice a day during the running-in phase
(approx. 200 operating hours). After the running-in phase it is sufficient to check it once a day.

Fill the engine with oil.
For this, refer to the operating manual of the engine manufacturer.

Check the oil level.

Connect the battery.
This procedure is described in Chapter „5.10. Installing and removing the battery“ on page

Fill with fuel.
