To unplug pull the plug, never pull on the cord to avoid damage.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught
in any way. This can avoid accidents of falling down.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
From time to time check if the cord is damaged. In this case or if the appliance is damaged
it must not be used any more.
Additional protection may be obtained by fitting a residual current device that must not
exceed 30 mA (IF < 30mA) into your home installation. Please consult a qualified electrician.

Appliance, cord and plug should never get into
contact with water or any other liquids:

never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other
liquid for anyreason whatsoever

the appliance and the cord should never get wet or get in contact with
moisture or humid objects

never use the appliance near a sink, or bathtub to avoid danger of falling
into water

never touch the appliance with wet hands or standing on wet ground

never place the appliance on wet ground or use it when it is wet

always switch off and unplug electric appliances after use in bathrooms or humid
rooms. The proximity of water presents a hazard even when switched off!!

never use the appliance outdoors. The appliance is not suited for outside use.
Moisture can damage the appliance
Plugging:
Before first use ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated
on the rating plate of the appliance. Connect this appliance to a plug which is wired
according to the regulations.
Run the cable in a way that nobody can stumble over it or pull on it to avoid accidents.
Take care that the cable never comes into contact with sharp edges and hot objects.
Caution! Danger of burning! Prolonged use can cause serious burns.
The unit
gets hot during operation. During operation of electrical caloric appliances, high
temperatures are generated, which may cause injuries. Never fall asleep during use
to avoid serious burns!
Never cover the switch or place it onto the warm appliance during use. This can avoid
overheating. The electronic elements in the warming jacket ‘s switch lead to slight
warming of the switch during use. The switch must therefore not be on top of or
covered by the warming jacket when it is in use.
The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this electrical product may eventually
interfere with the functioning of heart pacemakers. However, they are far below the
limits. If in doubt please ask your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker
before using this product.
Do not use the warming jacket in areas of the body that are inflamed, injured or swollen.
If in doubt, you should seek medical advice before use. This also applies for diabetic
persons.
The warming jacket must never be used folded or crumpled.
Do not pull on the cable, twist or bend it sharply.
Do not pierce the appliance with needles!
Only use original accessories.
Never leave the appliance unattended during operation and always unplug after use.
