6. Cleaning, Maintenance
6.1 Safety instructions
● The fans switch off automatically if the front
shutter is opened.
● Disconnect the ventilation unit from the
power before removing the front cover.
Position a visible warning notice at the fuse
box to avoid the unit being accidentally
switched back on.
● Never operate the ventilation unit without
a filter.
6.2 Changing the air filter
Change the air filter when the filter
change display lights up. Only use
original replacement filters. See
Chapter 11, Accessories.
Release the 2 quick-release clips and open
the front shutter.
Pull the metal frames with the air filters [1]
and [2] out of the ventilation unit.
Remove the filter inserts from the metal
frames. Dispose of these according to local
regulations.
Clean the metal frames with a damp cloth
and leave them to dry.
Insert new filter inserts into the metal
frames so that the filters lie flat right into
the corners, without any folds.
Pull the pollen filter [3] out of the ventilation
unit. Dispose of this according to local
regulations.
Slide the new filters back into the
ventilation unit.
NOTICE
Only use the reinforced
corners to slide the pollen
filter into the ventilation unit
with the dust air side to the
left (see label printed on the
filter). To avoid damage to the
filter, make sure you do not
press the filter in the middle.
Close the front door. Lock it in place with
the two quick-release clips.
Reset the filter change period counter at
the room air control back to zero by
reference to Chapter 5.2.5 or 5.3.
