1. Unplug the PC's power cable from the wall.
2. Touch a grounded object to discharge any static electricity.
3. Open the PC case and remove the PC slot cover using a screwdriver.
(Remove the slot cover for the PCI Express slot where the card will be installed.)
4. Completely insert the SC-510N1/AVS into the PCI Express x4 slot.
5. Use the screwdriver to secure the SC-510N1/AVS slot cover to the case with the screw.
6. Verify that the SC-510N1/AVS is level with the motherboard.
If the SC-510N1/AVS is installed at an angle, it may result in damage to the SC-510N1/AVS or the PC,
so make sure it is installed correctly (PCI Express cards are easy to install at an angle).
7. Once you have installed the card, close the PC case.
8. Reconnect all of the cables to the PC and plug in the power cord.
9. Start up the PC.
After Windows boots correctly, place the CD-ROM in the optical drive and install the driver and application.
(The driver and application will be installed in that order.)
