1.8 BASIC MENUS AND OPERATIONS
The StartREC 400 has three main menus that access all available operations:
§
Copy
This menu includes functions that copy data from the source CD (read-only) drive, or the
internal HD, to the CD Recorder drives. Supported formats include standard audio Red Book,
Windows data, Macintosh data, Multi-Session, etc. Optional verification/comparison is also available.
§
Audio
Sets parameters for recording analog or digital audio directly to the internal HD, as well as
selecting various user options (whether to include SCMS, silence between cuts, track editing, play list
etc.).
§
Track Extraction
Extracts audio tracks from the source CD drive to the internal HD or to CD
Recorder drives.
Pressing the
EDIT/MENU
button advances to the next menu. When the display shows the desired menu,
press
OK/Enter
to access the associated functions.
On power-up, the StartREC 400 defaults to whichever menu was last loaded.
