6.5 Digital Inputs
There are four digital inputs onboard the EK-5744 operating within the voltage
range 0V-24V according to IEC61131-2 table 7. The CPU reflected state is the in-
verted state of the input signal, i.e. if an input is unpowered, a logical high state will
be read on the cpu side. All inputs are protected against wrong polarity and are
able to withstand voltages up to 100V in any direction. Each input is fully testable
during operation and has the following specifications. A valid input can only be
read by the CPU if all test features of the input are disabled.
