Chapter 10 XML interface
Parameter
Explanation
{IP-Address}
Address of the server to which the data should be transferred (myDatanet
server)
{Port}
Port on which the HTTP server is running. Standard value is 80.
{login}
The direct login parameter clearly identifies the user on the server. Each
relevant user can only request his own parameter. For this purpose, the user
must open the input screen for editing his user data (see "myDatanet Server
Manual " 805002) in the "User" area of the myDatanet server. The "Direct
login character string" (1) is in the lower third of this area.
10.4.3 Structure of the XML file
10.4.3.1 Changing existing data
If an existing data record has to be changed, the unique identification number of the data record
that is going be changed must be specified as the
id
attribute (e.g.
id ="F000002200000282"
). The
XML file must only include those elements that should be changed. All of the elements that are not
included are not changed. The attributes (
title
,
units
,
calc
, etc.) are not relevant for the data
import and can be omitted.
Note: Formats (comma, date format, etc.) are adopted from the user or server settings.
