Chapter 8 Initial Start-Up
8.1 User information
Before you connect the myDatasensMINI H2S 1000and place it into operation, you must observe
and comply with the following user information!
This manual contains all information that is required for using the device.
Is intended for technically qualified personnel who have the relevant knowledge and experience in
the area of measurement technology.
Read this manual carefully and completely in order to ensure the proper functioning of the myDa-
tasensMINI H2S 1000.
Please contact our technical department if anything is unclear or if you encounter difficulties with
regard to installation, connection or configuration (see "Contact information" on page 107).
If necessary, please also refer to the manuals of the accessory parts when commissioning the com-
plete system. These manuals are included in the scope of delivery of the accessory parts.
8.2 General principles
The entire measurement system may only be placed into operation after completion and inspection
of the installation. Study the manual thoroughly before placing into operation to prevent faulty or
incorrect configuration.
Utilise the manual to familiarise yourself with the operation of the myDatasensMINI H2S 1000and
the input screens of the myDatanet-Server before you begin with the configuration.
8.3 Commissioning the system
Important note: Please check the time and date settings (incl. time zone setting) on your PC,
as these are used to synchronise the system time of the myDatasensMINI H2S 1000.
You will need the DeviceConfig configuration program to commission the myDatasensMINI H2S
1000. It can be downloaded free of charge from the following website:
www.microtronics.at/deviceconfig
Detailed instructions on using the DeviceConfig configuration program is provided in the chapter
"DeviceConfig " on page 43 and in the "myDatanetDeviceConfig Manual " 805004).
