CHAPTER 5 – Plant Management by GSM/GPRS Module
• Key 2
→
Macro menu: This menu lists the macro associated with the access code used,
press the button for the macro you want to run and wait for the voice prompt outcome of
the request, to return to the previous menu, press "*" .
• Key 3
→
Residual Credit: the dialer informs on the residual credit. This message can be
turned off by the controller if the information is not available, this generally occurs at the
start of the module, and depends on the time that the operator takes to answer about
residual credit
• Key 4
→
Ambient Listen: allows you to access the audio line of ambient mics placed on
board the keyboards in order to perform a remote listening of the surrounding areas
keyboards.
WARNING
: This feature is available only if the SY860 dialer was installed on
the external bus of unit.
• Key 5
→
Request Remote assistance: After Remote assistance request the dialer
hangs-up call, and carrys out the GPRS connection and start the TCP server, once the
connecting it sends an SMS with its own IP address to the phone who made the request.
WARNING
: It is important to make this request by phone or device able to receive text
messages, because the unit forwards to the number requesting an SMS containing the IP
address of the device.
N.B.
If the system is set up correctly is possible to make run a macro to the system using a
simple "ring" made from the phone to the SIM number of the GSM module.
SMS commands
You can interact with the dialer via SMS.
The basic composition of the message is:

Available Command (assuming that the user code is 111111):

Restores actual state of every Area

Restores, if available, residual credit you have

Remote Assistance: #111111#tla

Dialer starts the procedure of remote
assistance: dialer sends an SMS to confirm the correct receiving of the command
(“Request for Remote assistance successfully carried out, wait...”) in a few minutes it send
a new SMS with IP Address of module.

Macro: #111111#macro#macro_description

Returns the result of the macro
execution if the result is negative is also indicated the reason of failure of the execution of
the macro itself.

Zone Enable: #111111#a#zona# zone_description
→
Returns the result of the
command

Zone Disable: #111111#d#zona#zone_description

Returns the result of the
command

Output Enable: #111111#a#output#output _description

Returns the result of
the command

Both for the execution of the macro that commands enabling / disabling of the zones, if
SMS confirmation setting is enabled, you will get 4 different answers from the dialer:

"Command accepted!"

If the command was successful
2.
"Command does not exist!"
→
If the command sent is not syntactically correct
