BASIC DEVICE INFORMATION
This section contains detailed menu screens and settings that you can
use to specify the behavior of the unit.
3.3.1 Starting Information Screen
Once you have logged into the Management System, you will be pre-
sented with a screen that provides an overview of the transceiver and its
current operating condition. It provides an array of vital information and
operating conditions.

Device Mode
—Current operating mode of the unit as it relates to
the radio network.

Device Name
—This is a user-defined parameter that will appear
in the heading of all pages.

Network Name
—The name of the radio network in which the unit
is associated.
•
IP Address
—Unit’s IP address [
192.168.1.1
]
•
Device Status
—Condition of the unit’s association with an
Access Point.
At the Access Point:
• Alarmed—A alarm event has been logged and not cleared.
• Operational—Unit operating normally.
At a Remote:
• Scanning—The unit is looking for an Access Point beacon
signal.
• Exp(ecting) Sync(hronization)—The unit has found a valid
beacon signal for its network.
