Whiz Bang Jr.
Optional Accessory
The Whiz Bang Jr. attaches to a 500 Amp / 50 mv shunt to send real time information to the Classic
Charge Controller.
Installation is a simple one wire connection. The Classic can use this information along with its internal
measurements to get a clearer picture of how much power is actually going into and out of the batteries.
MNX240 Autoformer
Optional accessory.
The MNX-240 autotransformer contains two sets of windings proportioned to a 1:1 ratio. Below
depicts the winding configuration for the MNX-240 autotransformer.
One dual 60 Amp breaker provides the input/output connection points for this unit. The images on the
following page depict the internal wiring configurations for the MNX-240 autotransformer.
Two basic configurations exist for the MNX-240.
1.
240VAC to 120VAC step-down transformer
2.
120VAC to 240VAC step-up transformer
(Indicates Start of windings)

Whiz Bang Jr. installation sequence
To use the Whiz Bang Jr. Simply install the Whiz Bang PCB to the shunt as shown and connect the wire
to the Classic AUX 2 input terminal block in the far left position.
