At the next installation site, the tumble dryer and the heat pump must
be lifted off the transport pallet using suitable lifting gear.
Installing the heat-pump
Before the heat-pump dryer is used for the first time, the tumble dryer
and heat-pump must be connected with one another. The following
steps describe how to install the heat-pump on the tumble dryer:
Firstly, set up the heat-pump at the designated installation site.
When installing the heat-pump dryer, please note that the specified
minimum distance from the wall of at least 500 mm must be ob-
served.
The air intake vent and the condensate drain are found on the back
of the heat-pump.
Before installation, position the heat-pump at the installation site in
such a way that the air intake vent and the condensate drain are
not pointing in the direction of the tumble dryer.
Position the tumble dryer parallel in front of the heat-pump, leaving
a little distance between the two. The rear of the tumble dryer must
be facing the heat-pump.
Remove the tumble dryer lid.
Feed the electrical connection cable through the heat-pump and
connect it to the tumble dryer (see Electrical connection).
Insert the plug into the socket on the tumble dryer.
