Once the steam oven has begun to
operate
you will hear a pumping noise
as water is pumped from the water
container into the steam generating
unit.
The appliance will then heat up. During
this heating time the rise in temperature
in the cooking compartment will be
shown in the display.
As soon as the set temperature has
been reached, the display will change
to show the cooking time and the time
will begin to count down. This is
indicated by the colon flashing between
the figures.
Please note that if the cooking
temperature selected is 185 °F (85 °C)
or higher and the cooking time is longer
than 30 minutes, the steam generating
unit will turn off 3 minutes before the
end of cooking to make use of residual
energy. This is indicated by the letters
EC in the display.
