Your appliance has been fitted with a
warning system which ensures that the
temperature in the freezer cannot rise
unnoticed. It is always active.
Temperature alarm
An alarm will sound if the temperature
becomes too warm. The temperature
display will flash.
The alarm sounds and the temperature
display flashes if :
– the freezer door has been left open
for a while, e.g. in order to load,
re-arrange or take food out of the
freezer.
– freezing large quantities of food at
once.
– the appliance has been switched off
for an extended period, and is
switched on again.
Switching on the alarm system
The warning system works
automatically once the temperature in
the freezer is cold enough.
Switching the alarm off early
As soon as the temperature in the
freezer has dropped sufficiently, the
alarm switches off and the temperature
display stops flashing and lights up
constantly. However, if the noise
disturbs you, you can turn the alarm off
before this if you wish.

Press the On/Off button.
The alarm will then stop. The
temperature display continues to
flash until the set temperature has
been reached. It then stops flashing
and lights up constantly. The warning
system is then ready should it be
needed again.
