. . . there is a build-up of frost on the
front panel of the frost-free system.
This is not a fault. Droplets of
condensate have settled on it and
frozen. This may have been caused by
one of the following:
^
The appliance door has been
opened frequently or left open for a
while.
^
A large quantity of fresh food has
been placed in the appliance at
once.
^
There has been an increase in the
humidity in the room.
Keep the door closed as much as
possible so that the Frost Free system
has a chance to melt the ice droplets
automatically.This may take several
days.
. . . food has frozen together.
Use a blunt instrument, e.g. a spoon
handle or plastic scraper, to prise it
apart carefully.
. . . the interior lighting is not
working.
^
Was the door left open for too long?
The lighting switches itself off
automatically after approx. 15
minutes if the door is left open.
If this is not the case, then the LED
lighting is defective.
^
Call the Service Department.
The LED lighting may only be repaired
or replaced by a service technician.
There are live electrical components
under the cover. Danger of injury and
damage.
Do not remove the cover. If the
cover is damaged or needs to be
removed due to damage,

caution.
There are lasers in the
lighting (laser beam class 1M) which
you should avoid looking at directly.
Do not use optical instruments
(magnifying glass or similar) to look
at the lighting either.
If you still cannot remedy the fault
having followed these suggestions,
please contact the Miele Service
Department.
To prevent unnecessary loss of
temperature it is advisable not to
open the door while waiting for the
appliance to be serviced.
