Operating the dishwasher
Turning on
Close the door.
Open the water valve (if closed).
Press the “ON/OFF” button (16).
The indicator lamps (17) next to the Pro-
gram Selection Buttons and the deci-
mal point (19) in the display will be lit.
Starting a program
Press a Program Selection Button
(17), to select a program. The follow-
ing will occur:
a) the lamp next the selected program
will remain lit while the others go out,
b) the “START/Stop” lamp will light,
c) the approximate length of the se-
lected program will appear in the dis-
play, and
d) the “Time left”lamp lights.
Before pressing the “START/Stop”
button, select any other desired op-
tions (e.g. “Delay start” or “Top
Solo”. See the “Additional features”
section).
Press the “START/Stop” button (22).
The indicator lamp next to the button
will go out, and the program will begin.
To prevent children from coming
into contact with detergent, only
place it in the dispenser immediate-
ly before starting the program.
Sequence indication (15)
Once a program has started, the se-
quence indicator lamps (15) show the
actual program stage reached by the
dishwasher.
When required, the water softener
reactivation process is performed
before the wash program. It may
last several minutes.
During this process the “Softener”
indicator will be on.
The hardness of the water supply will
dictate how often (after how many
washes) the water softener needs to be
reactivated. For example, with a water
hardness of 21 gr/gal, reactivation will
take place after every 3 programs. With
a water hardness of 8 gr/gal, reactivation
will only take place after 11 programs.
