Insert the plug of the roast probe into
the socket until you feel it engage.
Turn the oven selector to the re-
quired function.
The
e
symbol will appear in the dis-
play.
Enter the
oven temperature
required.
After setting an oven temperature
a
suggested core temperature
of 60 °C
will appear in the display.
It can be changed within a range of 30
°C to 99 °C.
The core temperature required will de-
pend on what is being roasted. See the
Roasting chart
for suggested tempera-
tures.
If you want to change the
suggested
core temperature
call up the
e
symbol,
and use the "+/–" input dial to enter
the required temperature.
Once you have entered an oven and
core temperature
– the oven heating will switch on.
– the
actual core temperature
will then
appear in the display, N.B. The low-
est temperature that can be dis-
played is 20°C, so this will also be
shown until the roast probe registers
a temperature higher than 20°C.
Shortly before the end of cooking time
the oven heating switches off.
The
Residual heat function
then comes
into action.
"
EC
" now appears in the oven display to
show that the oven in energy save
mode.
The oven heating will switch on again if:
– the oven temperature is altered,
– the core temperature is increased.
