Chocolate cake
Preparation time: 65–75 minutes

Dough ingredients
300 g dark chocolate
150 g butter
5 eggs
100 g caster sugar
100 g self-raising flour
Glaze ingredients
100 g dark chocolate glaze

Method
Melt the chocolate and butter in a
saucepan on the hob and allow to cool.
Mix in the egg yolks, sugar and flour,
then fold in the stiffly beaten egg
whites.
Transfer the mixture into a greased
springform tin and bake.
When the cake has cooled, spread the
chocolate covering over it. This cake
will be moist due to the high chocolate
content.
