Notes on the oven functions
You can find an overview of all the
functions with their recommended
values in “Main and sub-menus”.
Using Automatic programmes
Follow the instructions in the display.
Using Fan Plus
Because the fan distributes the heat
around the oven compartment straight
away, you can use a lower temperature
than you would with the
Conventional
Heat
function.
Use this function if you are baking on
multiple shelf levels at the same time.
1 shelf: Place the food on shelf
level 2.
2 shelves: Place the food on shelf
levels 1+3 or 2+4.
3 shelves: Place the food on shelf
levels 1+3+5.
Useful tips
– If you are cooking on multiple shelf
levels at the same time, slide the
universal tray in on the lowest level.
– For moist biscuits and cakes, bake on
a maximum of 2 shelf levels at once.
Using Moisture Plus
Use this function with your preferred
type of heating for cooking with
moisture injection.
Place the food on shelf level 2.
Using Intensive Bake

moist toppings.
Do
not
use this function for baking thin
biscuits.

Using Conventional Heat
Dark metal, enamel, or aluminium
bakeware with a matte finish, as well as
heat-resistant glass, ceramic, and
coated bakeware can be used.

recipes. If using an older recipe or
cookbook, set the oven temperature
10 °C lower than that recommended.
This will not change the cooking
duration.
Place the food on shelf level 1 or 2.
Using Eco Fan Heat
Use this function for cooking small
amounts of food, e.g. frozen pizzas,
bake-off rolls or biscuits, while saving
energy.
