Using residual heat
The temperature in cooking pro-
grammes using temperatures above
140 °C which take longer than
30 minutes to cook can be turned
down to the lowest possible temper-
ature about 5 minutes before the end
of cooking. The residual heat in the
oven is sufficient for cooking the
food. Do not switch the oven off (see
"Warning and safety instructions").
If you wish to run the pyrolytic clean-
ing programme, it is best to start it
immediately after a cooking pro-
gramme. The residual heat in the
oven will help reduce the amount of
energy required to run the pro-
gramme.
