Using SuperCool, SuperFreeze and DynaCool
29
DynaCool function
When the dynamic cooling function
(DynaCool) is not switched on, the
natural circulation of air will cause
different temperature zones in the
refrigerator as the cold, heavy air will
sink to the lowest section. You should
bear this in mind when placing food in
the refrigerator (see "Using the
refrigerator efficiently").
However, if you are placing a large
amount of food in the refrigerator at any
one time, e.g. after your weekly shop, it
is a good idea to switch on DynaCool.
This way you can distribute the
temperature inside the appliance to all
areas more evenly so that all the food in
the refrigerator section will be chilled to
about the same degree.
The temperature is set as normal with
the refrigerator temperature control.
DynaCool should also be selected
when:
– the ambient temperature in the room
is high, i.e. above 30° C, and
– the room humidity level is high.
With DynaCool selected, the fan is in
standby: When the compressor
switches on, the fan also switches on
automatically.
Useful tip:
As the energy consumption
is increased when DynaCool is
activated, it should be switched off
under normal conditions.
To save energy, the fan switches off
automatically whilst the door is open.
Switching a function on or off
Touch the sensor for the function you
want.
– The display LED next to the
corresponding symbol will light up
and the function will be selected.
– The display LED next to the
corresponding symbol will go out and
the function will be deselected.
Following an interruption to the power
supply any function which was
previously switched on will be
switched off.
