Do not let water get into the
electronic unit or the lighting.
Steam from a steam cleaning
appliance could reach the electrical
components and cause a short
circuit.
Do not use a steam cleaner to clean
the appliance.
Cleaning water must not get into the
drain hole.
The data plate located inside the
appliance must not be removed. It
contains information which is required
in the event of a service call.
Cleaning agents
The stainless steel doors of the
appliance have a special coating that
is resistant to dirt.
Do not use the
Miele Care product for stainless
steel
on these surfaces. + noticeable
smearing.
Cleaning and conditioning agents
used inside the appliance must be
food safe.
To avoid damaging the surfaces of your
appliance,
do not use:
– cleaning agents containing soda,
ammonia, acids or chlorides,
– cleaning agents containing descaling
agents,
– abrasive cleaning agents, e.g.
powder cleaners and cream cleaners,
– solvent-based cleaning agents,
– stainless steel cleaning agents,
– dishwasher cleaner,
– oven sprays,
– glass cleaning agents,
– hard, abrasive sponges and brushes,
e.g. pot scourers,
– dirt erasers,
– sharp metal scrapers.
To clean the stainless steel surfaces
on the appliance we recommend
using the original Miele Care product
for stainless steel (see "Optional
accessories").
This product contains substances that
are gentle to stainless steel surfaces
and, unlike stainless steel cleaners, it
does not contain polishing agents.
Soiling is gently removed and each
time the original Miele Care product
for stainless steel is used, it applies a
protective film against dirt and water.
We recommend using lukewarm water
with a little washing-up liquid to clean
the appliance.
