Caution! Danger from rotating drum and danger of scalding.
Before inserting the Torx wrench, make sure that the machine is
disconnected from the power supply, the drum has stopped and
there is no water in the machine.
Turn the release element with the inner hexagon with a Torx wrench
T 40 two whole revolutions
anti-clockwise (left)

Tip:
Pushing on the door at the same time makes it easier to turn the
emergency unlock mechanism.
The release element is located opposite the door catch at the same
height as the handle (see illustration).
The emergency release must not be turned to the right.
Danger of damage to the door lock.
The turn resistance will noticeably reduce. When the emergency re-
lease element moves freely, the door is unlocked.
Tip:
It is not necessary to screw the emergency release back up.
