“With pre-wash”

– For heavily soiled and stained items.

“Water plus”

– This is recommended for particularly

delicate fabrics, and

– if more water is required for dispens-

ing the detergent.

– the water level increases in all sec-

tions of the programmes COTTONS,
MINIMUM IRON and QUICK WASH
40°C.

“Short wash”

– The length of the main wash is short-

ened for lightly soiled items. An addi-
tional reduction in temperature is not
recommended as this may lead to
poorer wash results.

– In the COTTONS and MINIMUM

IRON programmes only two rinse
cycles are carried out at high water
level.

Spin

The final spin speed is selected by turn-
ing the spin speed selector to the set-
ting required, but also depends on the
basic wash programme chosen.

“Without final spin”

Interim rinse and spin is carried out in
the relevant programmes.

Washing is not spun after the final
rinse, but the water is drained away,
and the machine goes straight into the
anti-crease stage.

“Rinse hold”

Interim rinse and spin is carried out in
the relevant programmes.

At the end of the final rinse the washing
remains suspended in water.

This helps to reduce the possibility of
creasing, if the washing is left for some
time before being taken out of the ma-
chine.

To continue the programme:

Turn the spin speed selector to the re-
quired setting.

The maximum spin speed is automati-
cally limited according to the basic
wash programme chosen.
