Introduction
Mkron kron has once agan rased the bar on thermal magng wth the ntroducton
of the MikroScan 7600 PRO. This high resolution and high performance, hand-held
IR camera offers capabltes that far exceed any IR camera on the market today. The
MikroScan 7600PRO is an extremely lightweight, fully-radiometric camera with
bult-n vsual magng capabltes. Wth ts newly developed hgh-performance UFPA
detector and built-in visual camera, linking thermal and visual images and creating
thermal/visual image composites for easy data storage, analysis and post processing has
never been more efficient.
The MkroScan 7600 PRO s ergonomcally desgned for comfortable one-handed
point-and-shoot operation using simple joystick operation, an intuitive menu system,
five direct access buttons, viewfinder and highquality flip out LCD display. It includes
on-board digital voice recording and has the ability to simultaneously record high-defi

ware, and has the ability to store images and data to a standard compact flash memory
card. Images can also be vewed n real-tme va the vdeo output or through a bult-n
IEEE 1394 (Frewre®) nterface. Completely self-contaned n a dust proof and splash
proof case, the MikroScan 7600 PRO not only meets IP54 specifications, but it also
offers a shock rating of 30G (IEC60068-2-27) and a vibration rating of 3G
(IEC60068-2-6), making it the perfect imager for the even the most extreme of environ

2.1 System Overview
The MikroScan 7600PRO is a non-contact, high sensitivity infrared radiometer. It mea
-
sures the nfrared radaton emtted by the target surface and converts ths radaton nto
a two-dmensonal mage related to the temperature dstrbuton at the target surface.
Through the use of standard on-board diagnostic software, the image can be used to
provide a picture of temperature variations over the area included in the field of view, in
ether temperature related colors or n black and whte. Pont temperatures can also be
derved from the mage.
