3.
Glass window:
Rotate the four fastening studs at
the bottom corners and sides 90 degrees to release
them. Unhook the glass window.
To refi t the window:
1. Hook the glass window to the fi rebox then fasten the
four studs pushing and turning them 90 degrees,
Verify that each stud is properly hooked by
feeling with your fi ngers and ensuring the pin of
the bolt is hooked to the fi replace’s fl ange.
2. Then, pull out the window by the sides and release
it to ensure the springs return it.
3. Apply fi rm hand pressure around the window frame
to ensure the window is sealed tight against the
fi rebox.
4.
If the Hot Glass Warning plate has been removed
from the front lower corner of the window,
reinstall it by sliding it between the glass and
the frame as indicated.
Reinstall the barrier screen and window frame.
5. Hook the window frame with screen attached to
the top of the fi rebox. Push the bottom against the
fi rebox to attach the magnets.
6. Reinstall the bottom cover sliding its top fl ange into
slots located at the bottom corners of the window
frame or hook the fret to its brackets.
Servicing & Maintenance
WARNING
FOR SAFETY PURPOSE, ensure the barrier
screen is re-installed on the fi replace window
after maintenance.

Hot Glass Plate
WARNING
Failure to install the window correctly can
leak carbon monoxide, aff ect the performance
of the fi replace, damage components, cause
overheating resulting in dangerous conditions.
Damage caused by incorrect window installa-
tion is not covered by the Valor warranty.

DANGER
The window unit must be correctly installed,
fastened and sealed after servicing or
serious bodily injury and/or damage to the
appliance may result.
To ensure a safe operation:
•
Verify that the four (4) bolts are hooked
properly to the window tabs then;
•
Pull out the sides of the window and release
them to insure the springs return it;
•
Ensure the window is sealed before operation.
