Duty cycle is how long the unit can
operate within a ten minute period
without causing overheating or
damage.
This unit is rated at 20% duty cycle
allowing welding 2 minutes out of
every 10 minutes.
This gun is rated at 60% duty cycle
when using CO
2
shielding gas and
30% when using mixed shielding
gas.
