Chapter 2. How to Update the Machine Software

a. The controller creates a restore point to prevent data loss if the update process is
interrupted.
b. A progress bar indicates the progress of the update.
7. When the update is completed, the controller prompts you to start the controller.
8. Touch the
Power Cycle Machine
button. The machine controller will shut down and restart.
9. Remove the flash drive from the USB port.

How do I restore my formulas and configuration data?
1. Be sure that the screen shows the
Home
screen.
2. If there is a flash drive in the USB port, remove it.
3. Touch the
File Transfer
button.
Some software versions show a dialog box with a check button (
). If you see this
dialog box, confirm that nothing is connected to the USB port. The USB status light on the
File Transfer
screen will be red.
4. Insert the flash drive into the USB port. The USB status light on the
File Transfer
screen

) will change from red to green.
Tip:
If the USB status light does not change to green in 5 seconds, touch the
Mount USB
button
above the
Home
button on the
File Transfer
screen.
5. Touch the
Formula Set
button in the
External Memory
area on the left side of the screen.
6. Touch the
Right Arrow
button.
7. Touch the
Configuration Data
button in the
Machine Memory
area on the right side of the
screen.
8. Touch the
Default
button in the
External Memory
area on the left side of the screen..
9. Touch the
Right Arrow
button to import the configuration data from the flash drive to the
machine.
10. Touch the
Home
button to return to the
Home screen
.
11. Remove the flash drive from the USB port.
