Test Printing
Test Printing
Print a test pattern to check that there are no discharging defects such as nozzle clogging (slight touching of ink
or nozzle missing).
In addition, you can select the orientation of the test pattern to print from two types in order to perform test
printing repeatedly. Select one depending on your use.

Press the
key in LOCAL.
• Press
to change the test pattern orientation.

Press the
key.
• Test printing starts.
• When the printing has been completed, the screen returns to step1.

Check the printed test pattern.
• When the result is normal, end the operation.
• When the result is abnormal, perform head cleaning.

• Prepare the media 250mm wide and 350mm or longer length for printing test patterns.

printing.

• When using the nozzle recovery function (
P.4-28), if the feed corrections do not match, printing is
done with the recovered nozzle sections misaligned.
In that case, perform a feed correction (
P.2-20) and then perform the test print again.
