Test drawing
Before drawing, perform test drawing and check that there is no drawing defect such as nozzle clogging (slight
touching of ink or nozzle missing).

Set the media for test drawing at
the rear of Kebab MkII system/
Kebab MkII L system.
• Attach the media with a tape or something similar.

By referring to the Chapter 2 “Perform
test drawing” of the operation manual of
the using printer, perform the test draw-
ing.
• The origin of X and Y and the height of head are
automatically set.
• When choosing the SCAN direction, printing is done in order
of

···. When exceeding the print area, it returns to
the position of

• When choosing the FEED direction, printing is done at the position of
.
• Check the drawn result and when it is normal, draw the data.
• If an abnormality occurs, perform head cleaning. (Refer to the Chapter 2 “Perform head cleaning” of the oper-
ation manual of the using printer.)
• In case of using UJF-3042MkIIseries or UJF-
6042MkIIseries while taking off two sustaining
shafts (the work diameter is more than
65mm), perform the test drawing by setting a
provided dummy table.
• When drawing on an actual work after performing a test drawing, it returns to the original point that was set
in the process of the start position of the drawing (
P.41) .
• When doing a test drawing, remove the work holder. If there is the work holder, a drawing may have
unintended gaps.
