TROUBLES FOR WHICH ERROR MESSAGES ARE GIVEN ON THE LCD
If something is wrong with the device, the buzzer sounds and a corresponding error message is given
on the LCD.
Take an appropriate corrective measure in accordance with the message.
Errors accompanied by warnings
These errors arise on the ink-related components.

REPLACE WIPER
Ink cartridge is not loaded on the
ink station.
The amount of ink remaining in
the ink cartridge is insufficient.
The ink cartridge has run out of
ink.
Time to replace the wiper in the
capping station with a new one
has come.
Time to remove ink adhered to
the bottom surface of the slider.
Attach the ink cartridge(s) corre-
sponding with the number(s) shown
on the display.
Printing can be continued in file-by-
file basis by pushing the
[REMOTE] key. However, it is
recommended to replace the ink
cartridge of which number is shown
on the LCD with a new one.
Replace the ink cartridge of which

Extract the ink cartridge and, if the
remaining amount of ink can be
checked, perform [REST ADJUST].
Fixed amount of printing can be
performed using the remaining ink.

If the ink runs out, the ink head
fires a blank which may cause
damage to the ink head.To avoid
this, the plotter enters the [INK
END] condition when the amount of
ink drops to a specified level.
Printing will be enabled by pushing
the [REMOTE]. Then, the error
message will not appear until the
power is re-turned on. It is recom-
mended, however, to replace the
wiper with a new one as soon as
possible.
At the same time, clean the bottom
surface of the slider.
