Truncation/Expansion:
Truncate leading zeros
- The leading
“0” digits of UPC-A data characters can be truncated when
the feature is enabled.
Example: Barcode “001234567895”,
Output: “1234567895”.
Expand to EAN-13
- It extends to 13-digits with a
“0” leading digit when the feature is enabled.
Example: Barcode “001234567895”,
Output: “0001234567895”.
Truncate system character
- The system character of UPC-A data can be truncated when the
feature is enabled.
Example: Barcode “001234567895”,
Output: “01234567895”.
Add country code
- The country code (
“0” for USA) can be added when the feature is enabled.
Example: Barcode “001234567895”,
Output: “0001234567895”.
