Set "Mandatory calibration" function

There is a switch to change over to "Goods weighing in legal metrology" . This is located

under a cover cap to the rear left of the weighing platform housing.
Use of the veriied scale in legal metrology in the EU:
The type approval for conformity assessment is valid only for non-automatic scales; for

automatic operation with or without additional attached devices, the national regulations

applicable to the place of installation must be observed.
Externally connected IS scales:
Before you use the scale in legal metrology, use the internal calibration equipment to

calibrate the scale at the site of installation (see Chapter

7.3

).

NOTICE

Damage due to increased temperature range

The temperature range indicated on the identiication plate (°C) must not be exceeded

during operation.

Monitor the temperature during operation and cool the installation site if necessary.
