Tare function
If you store a tare (weight value) by pressing the
key, you can later enter a tare value
manually. The tare value you enter is added to the stored tare value.
Setting: [APPLIC.] - [TARE.FNC] - [NORMAL] (3.25.1) (factory setting) (see chapter
).
A tare value entered manually overwrites a stored tare value (weight value). If you enter a
tare value manually, a tare value (weight value) stored later overwrites the manually
entered value.

Number of Measurements for Average
You can enter the desired number of weight measurements to determine the average
using the keypad.
Note:
The entered value remains active until deleted by pressing the
key or until
overwritten by a new value. It remains saved after the scale is switched of.
It also remains in memory when you switch to a diferent application program, or turn of
the scale.

Application Start
There are three ways to start the averaging routine:

Manual start with preset number of sub-weighing operations: Place the sample on
the platform and press the
key.

Manual start with user-deined number of sub-weighing operations: Place the
sample on the platform and enter the number of weighing operations using the
keypad. Press the
key to save the number entered and begin weighing.

Automatic start with preset number of sub-weighing operations: Measurement
begins when you place the irst sample on the platform, provided the start conditions
are met.
