Minelab Accessory Ferrite
Field Guide
www.minelab.com
To achieve optimum ground
balance, the GPZ 7000 requires
as much different data about the
ground as possible, especially
variations in the soil mineralisation.
Ground balancing using a ferrite means that less soil needs
to be covered during the initial ground balance period
because the ferrite artificially adds very useful data to assist in
achieving an accurate ground balance.
Remember to
ground balance
using a side‑to‑side
sweep motion,
not
the traditional
up‑down motion.
