Each working shall be separately considered and you have to fit the proper guard.

The min. opening diameter on the table will be determined according to the tool and the height
at which the cutter is set.
To get the opening as small as possible use the supplied rings (T fig.7.2).
In this way you reduce the risk that the workpiece oscillates and fits into the cutters during its
passage on the hole.

Adjust the fence in order to reduce the opening between fence halves and tool to a minimum.

The tool adjustment shall be carried out with the machine off and with proper instruments
(gauge, comparator).

The vertical adjusting of the spindle occurs by turning handwheel (A fig.7.4).

To take up eventual slack, reach the position always with motion upwards.
Each turn of the handwheel corresponds to a 2 mm adjusting.
