The spindle can rotate at 5 speeds:
3000/4500/6000/7000/10000 rpm
Positions and relative speed are given on a plate arranged inside the front door.
To select a speed move the motor belt into the proper race corresponding to the speed desired.
Proceed as follows:
1) Open the front door (
a limit switch puts the machine in safety conditions.
2) Pull lever (L fig.7.7) forward: the belt is slack
3) Move belt (C) to race (G fig.7.8) corresponding to the speed selected.
4) Push lever (L fig.7.7) back
5) Close the door.
The belt stretching when necessary occurs by means of the 2 nuts (S - N fig.7.7) with the belt slack
(handle L forward); the belt tension is right when by applying a 3 kg force on the belt centre you get
a flexion of about 5 mm.
Periodically every 6 months check the belt tension.

Make sure that the rotation speed you have selected is proper for the working and for the tool.

1) Open the door (
a limit switch puts the machine in safety conditions).
2) Pull lever (L fig.7.7) forward: the belt is slack.
3) Take off plate (P fig.7.7) after unscrewing screws (H fig.7.7)
4) Replace the belt
5) Fit the plate (P) again: make sure that lifting lead screw is centerd in the plate hole.
6) Push lever (L fig.7.7) back
Stretch the belt by means of nuts (S - N).
