Abuse Detection Warning
buzzer, Circuit breaker and
Power shut down protection
Your Minimoto™ ATV has automatic protec-
tion systems built into it to prevent perma-
nent damage to the electronic circuits.
Abuse Detection Warning Buzzer:
Your
ATV is equipped with a temperature and
overloading current sensor to detect possi-
ble overheating and overloading of the
electronic control box. Overheating or
Overloading may occur if you run your ATV
with too heavy a load, in too rough a ter-
rain, or up too steep an incline.
1) If the temperature in the electronics is
too high, the sensor will shut the vehicle
down and a warning buzzer with a high
pitch noise will last for 10 seconds.
If this happens, you must wait for the sen-
sor to detect a lower temperature. This
may take at least 5 to 10 minutes,
depending on the outside air temperature
during the ride. The ATV should work as
normal again, after the reset.
2) If a overloading current occurs, the
buzzer will beep for 2-3 seconds and shut
the vehicle down at the same time.
Release the accelerator to reset the ATV.
Rotate the accelerator again to resume rid-
ing.
When a overloading current occurs causing
the vehicle to stop operating and NO
buzzer is heard, refer to Circuit Breaker
Protection and Reset section.
Circuit Breaker Protection and Reset:
If
the ATV stops working and you hear NO
BUZZER, check to see if the Circuit
Breaker button has “popped up” (Fig 22).
WAIT ten seconds and press the black but-
ton in the center of the Circuit Breaker
down. If the button stays down, the Circuit
Breaker is reset. If not, wait longer until it
has cooled down enough before pressing
the button.
