Command

reset

Purpose

Reboot the system and reset the system configuration to factory default set-
tings. All console sessions are terminated and the terminals are frozen until the 
system is back on line.

Notes

Any job in the system is lost after the reboot, and the current system configura-
tion settings are replaced with factory default settings or the saved custom 
default settings. The value in brackets [ ] is the current value for the selection.
