Medical Warmer

CHECKLIST

SYMPTOM

CHECK

 

Chamber does not heat 

 

Is the power turned on?

 

Is the temperature set above chamber ambient temperature?

 

Is the circulation fan operational? 

 

Is there voltage on the output terminal of the controller?

 

Is the door closed?

Unit will not power up 

 

Check outlet for powerMake sure that is firmly attached to the door. 

 

Check if warmer is plugged in

 

Check if the ON/OFF switch/circuit breaker is turned on

Audible alarm 

 

The alarm is activated when actual temperature exceeds the set point   
by 2°C.

 

High temperature

 

Low temperature

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Interior and Exterior Cleaning
• 

Please ensure that the unit has been disconnected from the 
electricity supply.

• 

The  unit  should  be  cleaned  periodically  with  a  non-abrasive 
cleaner and soft cloth.

• 

Do not use any detergents or abrasive

• 

A damp cloth may be used provided that all surfaces are polished 
dry afterwards.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

DAILY
• 

Ensure the air vent in the airflow insert panel is not obstructed.

• 

Check that the number of bottles/bags, or blankets as applicable 
does not exceed the maximum capacity per shelf or basket

• 

Clean any spills with a clean, lint-fresh cloth

MONTHLY
• 

Check that the door gasket for tears and holes. 

• 

Make sure that it is firmly attached to the door. 

• 

Check the seal when the door is closed.

• 

Clean the outside of the warmer with stainless cleaner

• 

Vacuum the fan - and vent opening

ANNUALLY
• 

Complete a calibration (Service agents can be found online)

• 

Complete a general service including an electrical test, check 
safety devices, etc.

• 

Check the set point compared to the actual temperature 
displayed 

• 

Check the condition of the plug and cord and replace if damaged 

• 

Check the controller screen for excessive wear, make sure the 
controller screen displays and operate properly.

• 

Clean The shelves and interior of the warmer.
