12 TROUBLE SHOOTING
12.1 Insufficient water to the brushes
1. Check that the valve is open
2. Check that there is water in the solution tank
3. Check that filter cartridge is clean
4.
Check if solenoid is working. Switching on and off the brushes, you can hear the pant of the electrovalve and check if
it is working or not.
12.2 Squeegee does not dry perfectly
1. Check that the squeegee is clean
2. Make sure the squeegee is adjusted optimally (Fig. 14)
3. Check that the aspiration hose is not choked
4. Clean the entire aspiration unit (see "WEEKLY MAINTENANCE")
5. If necessary, replace worn rubbers
6. Check float’s position
12.3 Machine does not clean well
1. Check the condition of the brush and replace if necessary. Brush must be replaced when bristles are about 20 mm.
high. Refer to "REMOVING THE BRUSH" and "INSTALLING THE BRUSH" to replace it. Working with a brush that is
too worn may cause damage to the floor.
2. Use another type of brush rather than the standard brush. We recommend, to clean floors with exceptionally tough
dirt, the use of special brushes that are supplied on request and according to your specific needs.
12.4 Too much foam is generated
Check that low-foam detergent is used. Add if necessary a small quantity of anti-foam liquid to the recuperation tank.
Remember that more foam is generated when the floor to be cleaned is not very dirty. In this case use a more diluted
detergent solution.
12.5 Vacuum motor does not operate
1. Check that motor signal lamp is on
2. Check that the recuperation tank is full and empty it if necessary.
3. Check that the electrical connector is properly connected
4. Check the intervention of the protection
12.6 Brush motor does not operate
The motor, to avoid damage to the floors, only starts to operate when the botton on the handle is pushed.
1. Check that motor signal lamp is on (battery version)
2. Check that the electrical connector is properly connected
3. Check if the start button works
4. Check the intervention of the protection
12.7 Machine does not start
1. Check that connector is connected to the batteries (battery version)
2. Check that batteries are charged
3. Check if the start button works
4. Check the intervention of the protection
12.8 Electric Fuses And Thermal Cutouts
The machine is equipped with the following electrical protection systems:
1. Power fuse (125 A) in the batteries supply cable to protect against short circuits
2. Thermal switches mounted on console’ cover in order to be easily accessible and to protect:
