After cleaning, the MIRA Safety MB-90 PAPR must be stored in a manner that

ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS. 
DO NOT THROW AWAY DAMAGED 
OR UNUSABLE FILTER ELEMENTS AS 
ORDINARY WASTE. IMPROPER 
DISPOSAL OF CONTAMINATED 
FILTER ELEMENTS MAY RESULT IN 
EXPOSURE TO CONTAMINANTS 
WHICH MAY CAUSE SERIOUS 
INJURY OR DEATH.

Filter elements must be removed and disposed of properly to avoid exposure to 

contaminants.

Perform regular operational inspections as detailed in this manual.

Carefully wash the blower assembly with a warm water solution containing a mild detergent. DO NOT IMMERSE 

THE BLOWER ASSEMBLY. A soft cloth may be used for scrubbing extremely dirty areas. Clean the breathing tube 

connection and filter element mounts to remove any dirt that could prevent an airtight seal. Rinse thoroughly with 

clean water.

DO NOT STORE BATTERIES IN THE BLOWER UNIT. Store AA batteries separately according to the manufacturer’s 

guidance.

Store the MIRA Safety MB-90 PAPR blower, belt, and accessories with this instruction booklet in a suitable 

protective container, such as its original packaging, that will protect the components from impacts, dirt, and 

distortion. The breathing tube may be stored with the blower.

Handle the filter elements as potentially contaminated objects.

Dispose of the filter elements in accordance with federal, state, and local 

environmental regulations for hazardous waste.

Carefully wash the inside and outside of the breathing tube assembly in a warm water solution containing a mild 

detergent. Clean the breathing tube connections to remove any dirt that could prevent an airtight seal. Rinse 

thoroughly with clean water.

IF ACCIDENTAL IMMERSION OCCURS, ALLOW THE BLOWER ASSEMBLY TO AIR DRY AND THEN TEST TO CHECK WHETHER THE MOTOR WAS 
DAMAGED.
